Recent developments have revealed a serious security problem for anyone who does any shopping or banking online. Even in Brenham, Texas, anyone with the right tools can hijack your supposedly secure session with Amazon or Overstock.com or even your local bank and access your account!

There are two important and easy things you can do to protect yourself:

Don't access any "secure" websites from public networks, such as at a coffee shop or airport.
Secure your home or office wireless network.
