  • Reinstalled the operating system, software, and all updated drivers on a new computer that just wasn't working right.
  • Moved a customer's data from her old computer to her new laptop, including Quicken files.
  • Exported contacts data from a Palm Pilot to an iPhone. 
  • Installed network cabling and phone lines.
  • Analyzed a host of search engine optimization (SEO) tools.
  • Configured web filtering for greater worker productivity.
  • Installed a printer.
  • Set up an email account on a web server.
  • Configured an email client.
  • Analyzed a network backup system and recommended upgrades and procedural changes.

Rates
  • General computer work: $65/hr
    Includes repairs, upgrades, virus cleaning, etc. Free pickup and delivery or I can work onsite!
  • Network infrastructure work: $80/hr
    Includes routers, cabling, installation, troubleshooting, etc.
  • Training: $40/hr
    Depends on the material and number of students. Rates will be determined as needed. For one-on-one tutoring, I charge $40/hr.
  • Technical Writing: $30/hr
    Network and systems documentation, standard operating procedures, manuals, etc.
